Dr. Chloe Kim is a Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94026722) supervised by Dr. Shannon Daneshrad. Dr. Kim offers services to children, teens, and adults for both psychotherapy and psychological testing/assessment. She has practiced in a variety of settings, including private schools, public high schools, community mental health clinics, university counseling centers, and group practices.

Dr. Kim is committed to her clients’ growth and healing by understanding the deeper meaning and cause of issues. She uses a collaborative approach in helping clients take steps toward their goals and making lasting changes in their lives. Dr. Kim is experienced in addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning disorders, etc.), relational issues, substance abuse, behavioral issues, life transitions, and stress. Dr. Mahathi D. Kosuri

Meet Dr. Kosuri

Dr. Mahathi D. Kosuri is a Registered Psychological Associate, PSB # 94028765, through the Board of Psychology to Dr. Shannon Daneshrad. Dr. Kosuri offers psychotherapy and psychological assessment to young adults (18+) and older adults (65+). Her training ranges from providing neuropsychological assessment/ consultations for neurology and/or psychiatry departments (private and state hospitals and private practices) to providing psychotherapy (individual and group) at forensic community mental health clinics.

Dr. Kosuri’s has an integrative interpersonal in style, focusing primarily on building a safe therapeutic alliance with individuals across race, class, gender and other intersectional identities. Within this relationship, she works with the client to further examine therapist-client patterns to explore core clinical issues that often grow from interpersonal traumatic experiences. She has worked with individuals with ranges of psychopathologies with a focus in clinical neuropsychology. As such, Dr. Kosuri’s neuropsychological lens is intertwined with a focus on the biological effects of trauma on the brain. She has worked with individuals processing childhood and/or adult traumatic experiences, adults with personality disorders, and individuals who have family and/or loved ones affected by the legal system (i.e., divorce, custody arrangements, family reintegration, family members of justice-involved individuals).

Dr. Kosuri has a particular focus on working with couples navigating high-conflict dynamics, relational ruptures, and the effects of trauma or longstanding patterns of distress. She also provides family therapy for those dealing with complex histories, including intergenerational trauma and chronic relational strain.

In addition to her relational work, Dr. Kosuri specializes in supporting adults (18+) experiencing a range of neurocognitive and psychiatric challenges, including neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e., ADHD, autism spectrum disorder), chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (complex-PTSD), borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and cognitive concerns related to hormonal changes and aging. Her integrative, trauma-informed approach is grounded in both clinical expertise and a deep commitment to collaborative care.

Dr. Kosuri completed her Master of Arts (M.A.) at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Queens College at the Graduate Center City of New York (CUNY) in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Adult Neuropsychology.
